What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on a user's device to store information needed for the site to work, or to collect usage data.
Cookies used on this platform
The aiassessment.it platform uses only technical cookies necessary for the service to work:
- Authentication session: cookies issued by Supabase Auth to keep back-office users (administrators and contacts at client organisations) signed in, valid for as long as the session is active.
Filling in the questionnaire requires no sign-in and sets no technical cookie: draft answers are saved only in the user's browser via localStorage, which does not constitute a cookie under the applicable rules. Your choice on the cookie banner is stored the same way, under the key caio_cookie_consent.
If you give consent, the platform also sets third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4):
_ga— distinguishes visitors. Duration: 13 months. Third party: Google Ireland Ltd._ga_<ID>— keeps session state. Duration: 13 months. Third party: Google Ireland Ltd.
Without your consent these cookies are not written. Until then, measurement runs in cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode v2): only aggregate counts are collected, which cannot be linked to you or across visits.
Profiling cookies and measurement tools
The site does not use advertising profiling cookies, nor any advertising or remarketing tools. Google Analytics 4 is configured with advertising signals disabled (allow_google_signals: false), without ad personalisation and with IP anonymisation: the data is not used to profile you, nor combined with other Google services. Private report links (/r/…) are transmitted in redacted form, so the token never reaches Google.
The purposes are purely statistical: understanding how many people use the platform, which pages they arrive from and where in the questionnaire they stop, in order to improve the service. Legal basis: consent (art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, art. 6.1.a GDPR).
In some assessment campaigns the promoting organisation may include a marketing measurement tool (a pixel), activated only at the end of the questionnaire and only if you have given explicit, optional consent through the dedicated checkbox: without that tick, no such tool is loaded.
Managing and withdrawing consent
Technical cookies require no consent and are always active. For analytics cookies, a banner appears on your first visit allowing you to accept them or to continue with necessary cookies only: until you choose, no analytics cookie is written.
You can change your mind at any time, as easily as you gave consent, using the «Cookie preferences» link at the bottom of every page. You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
